To answer your question about finding science information, I guess it would depend on what level you are at now and where you want to go. There are certainly many more lecture video resources now than when I had this problem in high school a few short years ago. Not knowing about your degree of vision, I’d suggest this format because you can very often get a sense of what the professor is doing on the board if you can’t see the board. Kahn Academy and iTunes U are two great places to start; they have everything from the basics to first or second-year college courses, again depending on the subject you are interested in.
