[Nfb-science] Dissecting in an Anatomy Class

Hi Kennedy,

I'm the STEM Project Leader at the American Printing House for the Blind. We sell a few products that might help you with human anatomy; it's called the Basic Tactile Anatomy Atlas. It consists of two binders full of tactile graphics for each anatomical/physiological system. I regret that I do not know of an equivalent for cat anatomy, but since they are both mammals, many of the graphics will apply to both. Here is a link to the APH shop site for this product:

Hello, friends,  

My name is Kennedy Stomberg, and I am taking a course in Intigrated Human Anatomy this term. As part of this course, we have to dissect a cat. I am wondering if anyone on the list has experience with performing dissections as a blind person?  Were you able to perform the dissections? What tools/accommidations did you use? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
