[Nfb-science] Brailler and tactile drawing recommendations

Hi Everyone,

I am extremely fortunate to have some grant money to spend on products to help my research, including accessibility-related items. Due to convenience and
cost, I have been using screenreaders 99.999% of the time for my research. However, braille would be very helpful, especially for presentation notes and
math equations. I'm thinking about the cosmo brailler, which is both a very quiet braille writer and braille embosser. However, it is very new and I'm
not sure how good it is. Has anyone used it? The link for it is:

I am also thinking about tactile drawing kits. In undergrad courses, I used the Draftsman drawing kit from AFB:
https://shop.aph.org/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_DRAFTSMAN%20Tactile%20Drawing%20Board_1-08857-00P_10001_10001

The Draftsman is great, but the lines on the drawings would often get pressed down when the drawings were stored in a notebook and the graphs became hard to read after a short time of storage.

The inTACT kit from EASY tactile graphics looks cool because it has an eraser:
http://www.easytactilegraphics.com/intact-products/

The eraser would be very useful, especially because I often had to start all over again when I made a mistake on the Draftsman.

Does anyone have any suggestions for any tactile drawing kits?

Thanks!

Kevin
