     The following conference will be of interest to professionals in STEM
education.

 

 

Please join us for the 15th Annual ISLAND Conference on Disability and STEM.
Attendance is offered both in-person or

online in Tampere, Finland August 27 - 28, and Princeton, New Jersey
September

12 - 13.

The conference showcases technical and methodological solutions on what is
possible

in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education for

people with disabilities. Since its founding in 2010 the ISLAND conference
has

served as a forum for conference attendees to meet, network, and
collaborate.

It is intended for scholars, educators, and practitioners, and welcomes
members

of the public.

Proceedings are published through the peer-reviewed Journal of Science
Education for

Students with Disabilities, which since 1998 has disseminated research and

practice related to the education of students with disabilities in the
science

classroom and laboratory.
