[NFB-Science] using the desktop version of MATLAB

Hello,

For the past three years I've been using the online version of MATLAB with
NVDA with no problems. But recently, I've needed to use certain toolboxes,
such as those to write and read data to national instruments devices, but
these toolboxes are not available in the online version of MATLAB.

The only option I have is to use the desktop version of MATLAB to use these
toolboxes. I know that people on this list have successfully used MATLAB
with the command line. For those people, how do you run MATLAB scripts in
this way? And how do you receive output from MATLAB scripts by running them
from the command line? For example error messages or output from scripts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
