Hello,

I am Louis Maher, secretary of the Science and Engineering division of the NFB (SEDNFB).

After 34 years, I retired from ExxonMobil in 2015. My background is physics, and, while at ExxonMobil, I did geophysical-related programming in FORTRAN, C and C++. I have not done any programming since that time.

I am very interested in space science.

I currently am a secretary for the SEDNFB, The computer science division, and the NFB of texas.  I am the treasurer of the NFBTX Houston chapter.

I like to organize things like meetings and seminars.

I have just discovered a very good podcast: "Sean Carroll's Mindscape" which considers a variety of physics and philosophical subjects.

I am enjoying the introductions that are appearing on this list.
