Where do you get these protective shield labels?

Hello Judy,

At the moment I'm using regular notepaper, light weight index cards, and
vinyl protective shield labels like the ones they use in libraries. I gave
up on the dymo plastic labels because even after creating the text for the
label, I had a terrible time trying to get the backing off the label. The
vinyl protective shield labels come off the roll pretty easily and hold on
for dear life to whatever I stick them to so far.

As for speed, I'll worry about accuracy first. :)

I find that half the letters I write are mirrored the wrong way after
getting past the first couple of letters. Still a daily work in progress
and worth it in the long run for taking notes when I'm away from a regular
keyboard.

Thank you!

Tony

Hi, Tony,

As much as I use a notetaker, I wouldn't be without a slate and stylus.

First, What kind of paper are you using? I would recommend using regular
notebook paper. All through high school, college, a teaching career, rehab
instructor, then busy mom, I used a standard spiral notebook you get at the
store. Although thinner paper, after all these years, the braille still
holds up.

I'm hoping that the thinner paper will allow you to more comfortably use any
stylus you wish, plus speed up your writing.

Let us know how it goes.

Does anyone still use a slate and stylus that has found a comfortable stylus
to use with arthritis or neuropathy? I'm working on getting my brain to
properly flip braille for a slate but I find that the couple of styluses I
have are hard to use after a line or two.

Take care,
Tony
