The first time I saw a saddle stylus was when we were living over in Germany. The slates they had then covered a whole page, came with a saddle stylus.

I gave up on the dymo plastic labels because even after creating the text for the label, I had a terrible time trying to get the backing off the label. The vinyl protective shield labels come off the roll pretty easily and hold on for dear life to whatever I stick them to so far.

All through high school, college, a teaching career, rehab instructor, then busy mom, I used a standard spiral notebook you get at the store. Although thinner paper, after all these years, the braille still holds up.
