Aira is pleased to announce that Everette Bacon has been promoted to Chief
of Blindness Initiatives. Since joining Aira as VP of Blindness Initiatives
in 2023, Everette has played a fundamental leadership role at Aira. His work
has included advocacy, securing state and federal funding, and advancing the
recognition of visual interpreting as an assistive technology. In this new
position, Everette will continue this important work, as well as take a more
active leadership role in product and service development, service delivery,
and business development, in addition to building out a team under him.
