I have decided to go to the NFB national convention by train, leaving Boston
Thursday July 2 and returning July 9. Fare, before senior discount, is only
$81 each way. Sandy would I take this rather than fly because new air is
circulated in the train, not re-circulated as in a plane. Also, the price IS
nice. The train will leave me in Toledo, OH, where a special connecting bus
will take me into Detroit. I will arrive around 7:30 Friday morning, and
workshops start at 9 AM. Hope I get enough sleep on the train to be up for
it. Con ends Wednesday night about midnight, and bus/train is not until
almost 10 PM Thursday. I am interested in suggestions on what I could do
during the day, mundane or faanish.

I will get back to Boston 9:30 PM Friday, so will take Red Line to Alewife
and bus to Readercon.

Best, Ed Meskys
