I have a friend who had that same experience and he was wearing a $700.00
suit at the time--guess they thought he needed help financing his wardrobe.

I have a blind friend who was waiting for a bus and drinking a cup of
coffee.  Somebody came by and dropped money into his coffee cup.

I think most, if not all of us, (anyone who goes out in public,) has been
offered money at one time or another.
