Hi,

Actually the story is just as compelling as ever according to people such as
the high school vice principal I mention in the newsletter. Remember, this
is far from just a 9-11 story as you will see in the book.

There will be accessible versions, but right now Thomas Nelson is marketing
to a broader audience. If you wish to make comments urging audible, other
audio, Braille, and accessible eBook versions please go to
www.michaelhingson.com go to the newsletter and comment using the link at
the bottom. I WILL send all comments to the publisher to demonstrate our
interest. You also can purchase a print copy to have for friends as many of
us do anyway with other books.

I urge comments on the web site please. If you want your remarks kept
private please say so in your comment and I won't allow it to be posted to
the site, but I will share all remarks with the publisher.

Thanks all for your interest. As you will see this is a life story of a
blind person who has been involved and who is helping to show that we can
change what it means to be blind.

Merry Christmas,

Mike Hingson

Oh, come now. It's a new trend to put out something not readily accessible
from the outset. What rhymes with Cleo? Oh, right! I'm totally kidding.

Cudos to Michael for putting out the new book for sure. Anyone who can
complete and get a publisher to pick up their book is a winner in my book,
but hasn't the story used up all its traction ten years later?

Right on, Mikey. Just as soon as I mug a lucky gambling addict
an dlift a
couple grand off of his body, I'll be giving you a call for a
KNFB Reader.

But what's this? No Braille right at the outset? Dr. Jernigan would be
ashamed.
