My guess is that if the driver is charged, it would be for driving too fast
for the conditions.

I am glad to see that most here recognize that you can't insulate a bus stop
from every accident, nor should you try. The sad fact is, if you want total
safety, then never leave your house. Heck, even in your house, you don't
have total safety, either.
Surprisingly, the several newspaper articles I have read about this have
been sensible in blaming this on the icy roads, not that these three were
blind. I am at least glad to see that. I'd have expected the media to jump
on that bandwagon, too. and maybe some of it will, but thankfully, few have
so far. Interestingly, they say that though they don't think drugs and/or
alcohol were involved on the part of the driver, she will likely be charged
after the investigation is complete. Charged with what, I have no idea, and
they didn't elaborate.
