[nfb-talk] thoughts on the new telescopic carbon fiber cane

I may have to replace mine as well.  Last one I bought was two years 
ago—I carry them as a backup—and just days after I bought it, I ran 
into Willie Black at Youth Slam who had something happen to a 
student’s cane, and needed to borrow one until he could get said 
student back for a replacement.  Of course, I had a spare (because I 
always do), so it came in handy.

Of course, and anyone who has used one of these things knows where 
I’m going with this, the cap was cracked not half an hour later.  
(And I thought I was rough on the things!)

I’ve never found a suitable replacement cap for the things.  (If you 
have, lemme know!)
