Ray,
I have cassettes from when I was nine too. They are a little fuzzy in some 
spots, but fairly good audio for being so old.
Tapes are durable!

And I have an analog cassette of me when I was nine-years-old.  That 
cassette is the first generation original and was recorded in 1974.

As for "The Braille Monitor", I reckon that CD's would be a good option, 
but, then again, I remember hearing Dr. Maurer saying they would try to fix 
it so that we could just download the magazine in audio directly.  That 
puzzled me because we can do that already.
