Wonder how much control the people being profiled will have over the photo
captions and implied messages about them and their disabilities?

Mike

Disability.gov Is Seeking 4 Participants for its No Boundaries Photo Project
in June

The No Boundaries Photo Project will profile and professionally
photograph
four employees with disabilities at their place of employment.
Disability.gov will use these personal stories to educate
employers and
others about the diverse skills and talents of people with
disabilities.
Participants will also be featured on Disability.gov, as well as
in other
outreach materials such as posters, brochures, etc.

Please note that Disability.gov cannot provide reimbursement for
any travel
expenses and there is no monetary compensation for participating.
Candidates
will be selected to represent the diversity of those living with
disabilities, including different ethnicities, occupations and
ages.

The photo shoot will occur during the week of June 6, 2011 in the
Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Once participants have been
selected,
the Disability.gov team will confirm a time and date for the
session.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please email your full
name,
phone number, occupation and a few sentences about why you would
like to
participate in the No Boundaries Photo Project to
guestblogs at dol.gov by May
27, 2011.
