Such a futuristic transportation would be a dream for blind people. But
let's not forget what happened in the story. If a group of people decided to
take over such a system, the masses would be at their mercy.

The same applies to mass transit today such as buses, light rails and
airplanes. When unions go on strike, we are all subject to their greed.
