Karen,
I understand! However, you should be able to get information for when
you go to visit them. The Aging & Disability services information line
also has transportation information.
Any way I just had a suggestion.

Hi: Thanks. My parents are 81 and 89, and they won't put up with
anyone doing anything for them, including any senior services. I've
tried.(smile)

Karen

Hi Karen,
I suggest that you call the local Aging & disability resource and
information line. You can get this information from your county
services. There are stores and not for profit organizations who will
deliver food to seniors.
The Elder care locater
1800-677-1116 is your first call.

I'm visiting my senior parents in Raleigh, and would like to be helpful.
While I'm totally mobile at home in Ca., I am told that there is no way
to help my parents get groceries, etc., since there is no transportation
in Raleigh. Is there a competent blind person here who can tell me off
list how you travel in Raleigh? Thanks.

Karen
