Very interesting response from Curtis, but it seems he is taking issue over
mere language used by Mr. Hofstader without cutting into the real meat of
his charges. The assertions made by Mr. Hofstader are commonplace, both
inside and outside of the Federation. They will need to be addressed sooner
or later.

Perhaps Mr. Chong felt that the substance (or lack there of) was beneath his
response, but then, why bother to respond at all?
