[nfb-talk] Slightly off topic, but don't know where else to go!

I agree with you, Ashley! I am getting pretty frustrated with Sirius XM
Radio, though. That Web site is a blind person's worst nightmare, LOL!

I agree. I'd put employment databases and online applications as a priority
over entertainment sites.
Also, if anything, get after the government for enforcing section 508. As
many of you know, the government is a big offender of inaccessibility here.
many blind employees say the online learning courses are not accessible,
databases have issues, and many websites available to the public are not
meeting accessibility guidelines. Unlabeled tables, unlabled graphics, and
pdf files to name a few issues.
Perhaps, josh needs to enlist some other help such as a reader before going
to NFB about such a site.

Joshua:

If we got on everyone's case that had an inaccessible site, do you think
we'd have any money left to pay for other legal actions?

In other words, we must set priorities for litigation. I dare say purely
entertainment sites (and that includes religious ones) come in pretty low on
the worry-about-it totem pole.

Mike

They don't have an E-mail address.
No tech support, either.
They do, however have a forum that's littered with that stupid captcha!
Good grief!
They don't even have audio, or anything to make it totally accessible!
Someone please ask Dr Maurer to get on their case!
Thanks, Joshua
