Subject: [nfb-talk] Meet the Blind Month: Pedestrian safety

Good morning all.

As we all know, pedestrian safety is an ongoing issue in our communities.

Many of us will be participating in pedestrian safety events as we observe
Meet the Blind Month. Happily this coincides with playoff time in baseball,
which gives us an opportunity that is a bit creative in getting the word out
to the driving public.

Here's a slogan that may be helpful in making the public aware of
pedestrians generally and blind pedestrians in particular.

Hit and run: Great in baseball, bad in driving.

If you like it and think it may be useful, feel free to make use of it.

National Federation of the Blind of Florida
