I just got a letter from my representative!
He supports our bill!
He can't put his name on it now, since it has been referred somewhere else, but he'll support it, when it goes back to the House!
Blessings, Joshua

Joshua Lester
Dear Mr. Lester,
Thank you for your letter on H.R. 831, the Fair Wages for Workers with Disabilities Act of 2013. This is a key legislative issue and your correspondence allows me to better serve you and my constituents in the 1st District of Arkansas.
The Fair Wages for Workers with Disabilities Act of 2013 was introduced on February 26, 2013 by Representative Gregg Harper. If passed, the bill would phase out Section 14 (c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which currently allows employers to pay workers with disabilities less than the federal minimum wage. I understand the importance of your concerns regarding unequal pay for workers with disabilities. Though this legislation has been referred to the House Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, I will keep your thoughts in mind when considering this legislation.
I appreciate you reaching out to me on this key issue. Please feel free to contact me should you have any additional questions or comments. Also, I encourage you to visit my website at Crawford.House.Gov to sign up for my e-newsletter and receive regular updates from Washington, D.C.
Sincerely,
Rick Crawford
