I recently heard that representatives from many countries came up with a Marrakesh Treaty which would permit specially formatted books from one country to circulate in other treaty member countries with no copyright restrictions. This would allow us to read Braille and Talking Books from many other countries, and they would not have to be re-recorded or re-Brailed again and again. Many more books would become available as a result.

I do not know whether our President has signed it, but if not, we must write him urging him to do so. Then we have to ask the US Senate to ratify it.
