I'll call him after convention.
I'm not able to attend this year!
I hope it will be streamed!
Peter is on this list, so he can tellus whether or not he's streaming it.
Thanks, Joshua

Please keep in mind that this is the month where he his focusing on both the
Presidential report and his banquet address. I would suggest either waiting
till after convention, or, if you're at convention, going to see him in the
Presidential Suite.

I'll call him, and encourage him to set it up for next year's convention.
I should have called him last year, instead of E-Mailing him.
Thanks, Joshua

Joshua, while I agree that Dr. Nemeth would be a wonderful presenter for the
convention, I just don't think it's possible to do this at this year's
convention at this point in time. Today is June 7, and the convention is
July 1-6. The agenda has already been finalized and the plans made. This is
why Dr. Maurer urges people who want something added to the agenda to
contact him in March or April (see the Presidential Releases for those
months.) I have been at the national center at this time of the year and
have observed the work that is being done there about now. Currently Braille
and print agendas are probably being printed and Dr. Maurer, having finished
the work of planning the convention, is now preparing his banquet speech and
Presidential Report. This was the case when I went to the center and had
lunch with the Maurers about this time last year. So if you talked with him
about it again, he'd most likely say "no" for this year. Even if we were to
ask Dr. Nemeth to speak at the last minute, it would be unfair to him, as it
would not give him adequate time to prepare his remarks. Finally, as you may
or may not know, Dr. Maurer advises people who want to get in contact with
him to call rather than email him. He says he doesn't often check his email,
but pays more attention to his phone. To call him, you would call the
National Center at (410) 659-9314, then press 0 and ask the operator for
him. Unfortunately, this will likely not work this year-hopefully it will in
2014.
