Last week on Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show on ABC, he aired a skit
he did with Will Smith, a trailer for a nonexistent movie BLIND REF,
about someone (played by Smith) who's blind trying to be a pro basketball
referee.

It was the shtick you'd expect - miscalling shots, facing away from the
players, talking to people after they've walked away, and yes, the
face-groping thing.  OK, it parodied feel-good movies' triumphant ending,
having an emergency come up and him being the only NBA ref available, but
still ...

You may want to see if the NFB or a similar group protested to ABC. 
(Nothing was in the newspaper.  I wonder if he'll apologize tonight.)
