Hello everyone,
Please see the below message from Jesse Hartle, and come to this hearing if
you can. We would be happy to provide a van from the National Center,
leaving at 6:30- AM, if we have enough people to fill it. Please let Jesse
Hartle know as soon as possible if you are able to come to this important
hearing. Jesse can be reached via email at jhartle at nfb.org
If you are planning to come, but do not need transportation, please let
Jesse know that as well. Please also copy me at
president at nfbmd.org
to let me know who is able to come.
Thank you,
Melissa
Good Afternoon,
On Thursday November 21, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will
hold a second hearing on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities. This hearing will begin at 9:30 and will be held in room G-50
of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. I would appreciate any help you can
provide to spread the word to our members, and encourage them to attend this
hearing. This hearing will be held in the largest hearing room, and we
should work hard to ensure that the NFB is represented. Thank you very much
for any help you can provide. Jesse
