Hi, Mike.
You're right; match.com pulls a hard vacuum, if only because the page keeps
refreshing out from under the screen-reader. I haven't looked at it in a
decade, though. The "FriendFinder" series of sites -- adultfriendfinder.com,
seniorfriendfinder.com and many others -- worked a decade ago. But I suspect
these days almost all dating websites are less than ideal for the blind.

Subject: [nfb-talk] Accessible Dating Websites
I've been looking around on the web, just for research purposes you know, to
see if there are any accessible dating websites. Again, just for research
purposes---trying to help out the community.
And, what I find isn't very encouraging.
I have been to the following sites and have found that each one has major
accessibility problems which make them pretty much unusable.
Match.com
e-harmony.com
ok cupid
Our Time
Chemistry.com
Each site has somewhat different issues but they all end up with dead-ends.
Either one can't create an account, can't fill out questionaires or can't
click on profiles and respond to them.
So, does anyone know of sites that are accessible with screen readers?
Thanks in advance for your assistance with my research
