Are these talking receivers internationally distributed, so that here
in Mexico they might be available too?

They are all part of the Hopper family of receivers though. I went with the Wally because I don't necessarily need DVR capability.

> Great news! The dish network technician was here yesterday and I now have accessible programming on my tv. It speaks all the text on the screen such as current channel, information of the current show, menu options, guide options and the buttons that I push on the remote. Descriptive viewing on movies is only available when it is embedded on the movie or show. I need to learn about the system, but that will come over time. Additionally, I purchased a voice activated remote for $29.99. It has already proven to be a worth while investment.
>
> Overall I am satisfied. I suggest that anyone that have dish network inquire about the system in your location. They will need to install a hopper 3 receiver and your account must be tagged for accessibility. Please be patient with them, this is a new objective for them and many of the customer support agents and technicians are learning this now. If anyone have additional questions, please feel free to contact me at the information below.
