Much better than Walmart is an app called www.instacart.com. They are both the website and an app. They shop at any of your local grocery stores listed on their site providing that they exist in your area. I have spent about a year making them fully accessible. Try out Instacart. Karen

No more nonenglish speaking grocery store workers for me. I know they mean well, but now I can brouse the site for as long as I need and get exactly what I want. We just take an Uber or Lyft to the Walmart location, and the workers there load the trunk of the car. There are designated parking spaces for customers who are using the service to pull in to, and an employee comes right out with the order.

You enter all the information by your computer and your bank sends out the check for you. I have used this and it worked out perfectly. I have not had to ask any sighted person to write a check for me in over three years.

If they can send it to me by email or have a website where I can fill out the forms myself then that is what I prefer. However, when there is no other option than to have office staff help me fill it out, asking ahead of time helps them plan for it.
