I have an will always have glass dishes in the kitchen and bathroom. Paper
and plastic have their place, and there is nothing like eating off of a
phoam plate when I don't want to do dishes on a work night, but I have at
least 3 sets of glass dishes plus glass mugs, bowls and even bakeware. I
even have glass figurenes about the house. Have I ever broken one? Oh yes,
but life went on and I was no worse for it. I can name several sighted folks
who have made tremendous messes breaking stuff in their kitchens and
probably even got a cut or 2. So don't stop living life because people try
to tell you to.
