Good evening everyone,

After being hospitalized in 2018, 2019, and 2020 for respiratory issues, an infected right leg that was almost amputated, and a subsequent kidney infection there was no argument with getting the COVID-19 vaccination and subsequent boosters when they became available. Those who are vaccinated against any disease or virus not only protect themselves from possible acute infection but also serve as a buffer to help others from becoming infected. The same also holds true for animals. Rabies is a case in point. If domestic animals receive regular rabies vaccinations they are protected from being infected but can also help protect humans from getting rabies. And rabies is 99.99999% fatal! We both received the COVID-19 vaccination and are glad we did. Neither one of us became infected with the virus thus far.
