I got it from Amazon.  Yes, had to provide my own batteries.

I got my little radio yesterday and so far I love it. It is indeed very
small, with a surface area less than a credit card and a thickness of about
a quarter of an inch. The built-in rechargeable battery has an advantage
besides just being rechargeable, it is also part of the reason the radio is
so small. Even a couple of AAA batteries would make it much larger.

Reception seems good. I haven't tried it inside a stadium yet.

Tuning is easy. Press one button to go left on the dial, press another to go
right. You can hold either button down to have it automatically stop at the
next station. I figured all this out w/o reading the instructions. I have
yet to scan those in. I don't know how to use the presets.

I think I am going to use this radio with an old  bone-conduction wired
headset originally sold by AfterShokz. I don't believe they still sell this
particular model. It is wired and also has a rechargeable battery. 
The advantage of this particular headset is that the speakers, such as they
are, are shaped like ear buds. So you can kind of wear them like an ear bud
headset in noisy situations. I figure at the game, I can quickly put one
side into my ear like an ear bud when something happens and the crowd is
making noise.

Anyway, I will have to see how this little radio holds up but so far, for
under $17, I am pretty happy with it.

I took a different approach than you did. The one I ordered is only
$17 but I intend to use it only at games. I might use it occasionally 
while doing yard work or on a long bus trip. But normally, I listen to 
radio via a stream so I don't need a good portable radio.

I do also have a fairly small portable radio with a hand crank and a 
solar power panel on top.  It does not have digital tuning. It has old 
fashioned knobs for tuning and volume. But it works well for my purposes.

I searched Amazon for radios to take to a ballgame. Amazon has a nice 
feature that shows a table comparing similar items. If you click the 
link below, there is a table to compare 5 small radios with digital 
tuning. They range from $15 to $20. No speaker. Rechargable battery.
They all have ratings from 4.0 to 4.2 stars.

These all seem so similar it is difficult to pick one. There is one 
with a 4.2 rating that costs only $14.77. It has less than 200 
reviews though. That could be why it has a higher rating, it is just 
a smaller data set. There is another one that costs $16.99 that also 
has a 4.2 rating with over a thousand reviews. For an extra 2 bucks, 
it might be a safer choice.

PS: I said I was going to take my 30+ year old Sony Walkman to the 
game I am going to in November. Nah, I tried it and it sounds terrible.
