Mike, earlier this year Popular Mechanics reviewed several brands. They're generally available through typical vendors as well as Amazon. I've got an older one. If I can find it you'd be welcome to borrow it.

Subject: [NFB-Talk] Audible stud finder

There are about 10 fairly inappropriate jokes that could be used with regard to the subject of this email. But, what I’m looking for is a audible stud finder. The stud finder looks for studs in walls and tells you where they are. Sometimes it’s hard to tell just by tapping on the wall exactly where the studs are. If anybody knows of a good audible, one, let me know. Thanks.
