Why would we even think of asking them to stop firework celebrations? Fireworks have brought joy to families for years and years. One thing we always need to keep in mind is that the world is not required to cater to us because we are blind. Are we entitled to the same accessibility and the same independence of life as our sighted counter parts? Yes, we are, but that does not mean that if something bothers us or our dog the world has to change. Sometimes if something bothers us, we just should not go. Many times, it is us that needs to take responsibility for our own actions. The world does not need to be responsible for our actions.

Living in Orlando and having gone to Disney and witnessed their celebrations and having a  son who works in the entertainment part of Disney, I see no reason to sign this petition and didn't even look at it! I do not know if you are aware, but most of their fireworks are done with CGI.
