[NFB-Talk] Braille Cards

I’m not sure that large print of any font size would effectively work on a business card, at least not the standard BC size. Just not enough room. My business cards are Brailled but I Braille them myself using my Perkins Braille Writer. I can only get three lines of Braille on them, my business abbreviation and our two phone numbers.

I know APH has a Braille business card embosser that utilizes a notary stamp device but you can only get about thirteen characters across the card and the Braille is not very good. I once was at an exhibit hall with two other vendors comparing business cards made with three other devices, including APH’s stamp and my card was the most readable. HTH!

Hello, fellow Federationists.

I know I have asked this question before, but I have a slightly different variation on a theme:

I would like for all members of our affiliate, especially board members, to have large print/Braille business cards to hand out. Do any of you know someone who does a nice large print font in addition to Braille? I’m not talking about 14 point font size; I’m talking about a print size that can actually be read by individuals with low vision. If such an animal doesn’t exist, perhaps Braille cards, as well as large print cards? What do you think?

Thanks for your input.
