Weber/Davis May chapter meeting
Here is a change of pace.  Come for the light refreshments and stay for

the meeting on Friday May 18th at 6 pm.  We are going to the Davis County

Admin Building in Farmington to see the new voting machines.  The address

is 61 South Main Street, Farmington UT 84025.  Below are UTA directions

from trip planner.
Brian McKenzie has offered us an awesome place to meet and he will have a

demo of the new equipment.  Please come ready to learn about the new

accessible machines.  We will have a chance to see and interact with the

voting machines before we see them at the poles.  Brian can also answer

all your voting related questions.  Davis County is one of the first to

offer the new machines so we are lucky to have this chance.  Even if you

are not from Davis county this is a good first look as they will be rolled

out state wide soon.

Enter the building through the main doors.  Walk straight down the hall

taking a right at the end and the room is on the left.

Barbie will lead a discussion and we will talk about conventions and

fundraisers.  We have had a busy first half of the year and we need to

talk about summer plans.

Congratulations to Dean and Jaycie as they will be married on the date of

our meeting.

NFB Utah SL Chapter Lunch Meeting and Hike

Join us at the beautiful Memory Grove across from the State Capitol for a

lunch meeting and an OPTIONAL hike through beautiful City Creek Park.
When: Saturday May 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM
Where: Memory Grove Park; 300 North Canyon Rd.
Public Transit: The 200 Bus will take you up North State Street near

Memory Grove Park The closest TRAX line is the City Center or Temple

Square stops.

What to Bring:
??A blanket and a sandwich (we will provide drinks, chips, and cookies).
??Comfortable clothes and shoes (there will be an optional hike following

the chapter meeting—it will be an easy hike—kids and dogs welcome).
??A friend! Bring someone new this month.
