Elizabeth "Biss" Larsen Obituary

Elizabeth "Biss" Ann Larsen passed away peacefully in Ogden Utah, on August
17, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 5,
1965. Biss is the eldest of five children, with two brothers and two sisters
born to David Kent and Betty Stoffers Gailey. Biss was always the
peacemaker.

She had a kind heart and pure soul. Biss always wanted to make sure everyone
around her was taken good care of. She was an amazing example of patience,
quiet strength and acceptance. Especially in the last few years of her life.

She graduated from Bonneville H.S. class of 1983 and began working for
Intermountain Healthcare where she worked for 40 years. She served an LDS
mission in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1986. December 30, 1999, she married
her sweetheart George Kristian Larsen in the Ogden Utah Temple. They were
blessed with four children that Biss loved more than anything else in the
whole world. She loved being a mother.

Biss was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father-in-law Don
Stephensen Larsen, her mother-in-law Dorothy Marie Christiansen, and her
infant daughter Kristina Ann, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Biss is survived by her husband and her three sons, David Stephensen, Thomas
Caleb, and Benjamin Ray. She is also survived by her parents, her brothers,
Matt and Mike, her sisters Sarah (Jeremy) Tippets, Becky (Melvin) Holland,
along with her sisters-in-law April (Richard) Armstrong, Lisa Larsen, and
several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the extraordinary medical team that cared for
our Biss. Especially Dr. Carl Gray, Kylie Money, PA-C, Dr. Kyle Eliason, Dr.
C. Preston Allen and the entire staff and patients at the oncology clinic
who became a second family to her.
