[NFB-Utah] Chapter elections March 20

Greetings Federationists

 

The Weber/Davis northern area of Utah is  holding their chapter elections on
Friday March 20th, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Christensen's home, 

1168 South 175 East  Clear Field, Utah . 

We will provide the pizza please bring any sides you'd like and join us for
a memorable meeting.

  

We have some policies to vote on, discussions about the basket for the
convention, being the host chapter for the convention, 5 positions on the
board for election, and national and local news. It is going to be a meeting
that you will not want to miss. In order to vote in this election or run for
office dues are $5. 

 

At the last chapter meeting it was agreed that meetings would be held on
zoom on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. This will only happen no
more then 3 times a year since many of meetings are events as listed below.

Thursday April 16th meeting to work on the basket

Thursday May 21st is the chapter zoom meeting at 7 pm agenda to be announced


June 26, 2026 summer party at the Elliotts subject to change

July 8th gathering for National convention banquet Location yet to be
determined  

August 15 Farmers Market on 25th Street in Ogden and Farr's Ice-cream
activity 

September Davis county hike

October Beam activity

Friday November 13th game night at the Cherry's in Taylor, Utah  6 p.m. 

December 5th Holiday party at Pizza Pie Cafe in Layton 11 a.m.

The convention is right around the corner and there has been a new form
created that will make registering fun, don't hesitate,  give it a try

The time for applying for a state NFB scholarship deadline is March 31st,
that form too has been updated if you are going to be starting college in
the fall of 2026 apply sooner rather then later.
