[NFB-Utah] NFB UT Northern UT Chapter Hike this weekend!!!

Hi Federationists! 

 

We are hanging in there, having a great start to fall everyone? That's how to describe it here. Different than planned but not in a bad way. 

 

The Northern Utah Chapter of the NFB will have an activity this weekend,September 19th. Please come one come all! We are meeting at 10 AM, for a hike/ outdoor stroll as we usually plan on that for September. We will be walking along the Bonneville Shoreline/ Ogden River Parkway trail that goes past Timbermine Steakhouse next to the Ogden River. You could follow that for... miles and miles, past the Eccles dinosaur museum and all through Ogden if you have the time and stamina. If it goes as it has before, this crowd will just do it for an hour ish and walk back, have lunch at the Rainbow Gardens restaurant and depart. That is the plan. 

 

A good place to park is the "Rainbow Trailhead", or perhaps the "Greenery Restaurant at the Rainbow" has good parking for customers, I didn't try that one Bus stops are closest at the nearby Harrison Blvd. Not far, but I would suggest getting a ride or paratransit from there because I think I remember that tree lined road to the trailhead has no sidewalk. And be safe everyone.
