[Nfb-web] NFB-WEB Sandbox

Mike and Dave,

That is great about nfbnet.org. I was worried that drupal required apache. I
knew that our ISP is windows based; but, does have mysql and php. After all
the discussions are resolved, I would definitely want to look at using
nfbnet.org for a drupal install. I know I'll draw heavily on Mike's
expertise and experiences at that time. This would be the basis for a NFB
"Programming Group" to teach and encourage programming as a career.

Mike, of the adults, what do you think are their experience levels? Would
working in group(s) be acceptable?

Mike and other listers,

on a side issue. I will be starting a thread on the NFB Framework of
applications. I propose this as a list of commonly required applications of
all NFB organizations. If, and this is a big if, the "Programming Group"
writes an application (i.e., volunteer registration, etc.) should it be
portable to drupal? I think, at first thought, yes.
