Dear Colleagues,
We are exactly two months into sales of the Louis Braille
commemorative silver dollar, and we have sold nearly 160,000 coins as
a result of our efforts.
However, we must continue to keep the momentum high if we are to sell
all 400,000 coins by the end of the year.
I am writing to all of you today to ask each affiliate to place a
link on its website which will direct visitors to the mint to
purchase a Braille coin.
You are encouraged to place a link to
www.braille.org
as well, but our primary focus at this time is bolstering sales of
the coin itself.
Below is a link to the mint's press image library. There you will
find photos of the coin that you can use to add depth to your
affiliate's site. I have
also included sample text that you can add to describe the link and
the reason for it.

Link to purchase coins:

Sample text: There are 293 different ways to make change FOR a dollar.
Do you know ONE way YOU can make change WITH a dollar?
Purchase a Louis Braille Bicentennial Silver Dollar and $10 will be donated to
the National Federation of the Blind to help stop the Braille
literacy crisis in America.
Make change with a dollar and change what it means to be blind.
Thank you for all of your help in making this campaign a success.
Sincerely,
Fred Schroeder
