Subject: [Nfb-web] Document Accessibility newsletter signup

Hi All,

If you are interested in receiving a seasonal email newsletter on
advances,
tools, and advice on Document Accessibility, please respond directly to
marks at accessingenuity.com. The first edition is going out this week.

Document Accessibility refers to making electronic information fully
accessible and universally usable. While this is not HTML
accessibility, it
does cover the accessibility of electronic files posted on the Internet
such
as PDFs and Word Docs. Although we address standards such as Section
508
and W3C, our focus is on making documents navigable and readable for the
End
User, those using screen reading and/or screen magnification technology.
This seasonal newsletter will include news on: 1) advances in
technologies
for developing and testing accessible documents; 2) available services;
and
3) helpful tips and answers to frequently asked questions.

Document Accessibility is produced by Access Ingenuity. Founded in 2002
in
the California Bay Area, we are dedicated to providing assistive
technology
and complete accessible solutions designed to meet the needs of
individuals,
companies, institutions, and community based organizations. Access
Ingenuity is also the Freedom Scientific representative for California.

Again, please respond directly to marks at accessingenuity.com to receive
the
Doc Access newsletter. We do not sell or share any information, and you
can
be taken off the list at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of
the
newsletter. If you have any questions or suggestions, please email me
at
the same address.

Best regards! Mark
