Hi.
well still waiting for nobel to send me the john farnham links, been
waiting a month or six weeks.
and still being patient.
could you please send me the links.
now, thinking of setting up a new yahoo group called blind aid.
to co-incide with my website project i am developing as part of my web
site diploma in website development from http://wsi.tafensw.edu.au, and
going to develop a blindness site.
and purchase adobe cs 5.5 student web premium the other day.
so, now wondering, any tips, tricks, for moderating the possible yahoo
group.
if any people are interested in co-moderating this group.
maybe if not on topic, then e-mail me privately.
and then if possible then will set up the group, then spread it.
the website is being developed and have got a domain at either
http://blindaid.ultraweb.us, or www.blindaid.ultraweb.us.
and got a free account at droople, wich is a content management system,
and listened to a presentation by michael hanseon, from the national
federation of the blind web, so you can find his presentation on using
droople.
and have got a account, for testing my site for accesisiblity,
functionality, etc.
will be using dream weaver, php, my sql, flash builder, images,to build
my site.
would people like to see a chat application to chat about blindness or not.
do have a biography blog, and will have security for this site.
a sign up page, login, to add your biographies about blindness for peple.
a audio pod cast, you can upload via ftp, i use file xilla to download
and upload.
most accessible with jaws.
a document page, where you can upload documents.
and other information, about eye diseases, white caines, guide dogs, and
also a screen reader page with sample voices for all the major screen
readers, and magnification software.
okay.
if any one wants to jump in let me know.
am i am on the right track or am i barking up the wrong tree.
if there are any budding web site designers, or adaptive tech specialists.
Marvin.
