[Nfb-web] Drupol Conference/Training

to all Federation Webmasters:

 

The first "Conference/Training will be on "Drupol" and the presenter will be
Michael hansen. He will present on Saturday, October 29 for approximately an
hour beginning 8 PM ET (Eastern Time) 7 PM CT (Central Time) 6 PM MT
(Mountain Time) and 5 PM PT (Pacific). If you have a specific area or
questions that you would like Michael to answer as part of his session,
please contact him directly using the e-mail address below.

This session will be recorded and posted later on the NFB Webmasters
homepage. An announcement will be sent to the list when the file is ready.

 

To participate in this conference/Training you will need to join the website
"Out-of-Sight" at http://out-of-sight.net

 

Out-of-sight uses the Talking community Conference Room client. If you never
have used the Talking Community Conference Room, there will be a very small
plug-in that you will need to download to participate in the
Conference/Training. It is recommended that you be on a high speed Internet
connection and to participate in talking to others in the room you will need
a microphone and speakers.

 

If joining for the first time, please register early as it takes about 24 to
48 hours to approve your request to join. Password is assigned by the
website administrators so don't loose your log-in information.

 

On the day of the Conference/Training, try to plan to join the room at least
15 minutes before the top of the hour so that if you need to test your audio
connection it can be done at that time. If anyone wants to test or try the
system out before the day of the Conference/Training, please contact me and
let me know what is the best time for you.

 

The room is labeled as "Webmasters of the NFB".
