[Nfb-web] NFB migrates to Drupal

Greetings, all—

After a long and occasionally arduous journey, we have migrated www.nfb.org<http://www.nfb.org> from our proprietary CMS to our new Drupal home. We flipped the switch on Saturday afternoon, so most DNS records should have propagated by now. We know from experience that things seldom go as planned, so we do expect some hiccups over the next couple of weeks.

I wanted to alert our affiliate and chapter webmasters so you can keep an eye on any links you may have pointing back to the national website. We've made nearly five hundred entries  in our index.php file, so any static link pointing to our old site will be forwarded to the proper page on our new site. If you find any omission, I'd appreciate a heads up so we can add the link.

In addition, I'd appreciate any additional feedback you'd like to offer. If you find layout glitches, web form inaccessibilities, or other issues with the site, I'd welcome your thoughts. When the migration process is over, I'd be happy to summarize our Drupal aexperiences for the group. We will also begin a redesign and reorganization of our website sometime soon thereafter. I will ask for the group's input at that point as well.
