Yes, nfb.org and Nfbnet.org are on different servers, in different locations, etc.

For Nfbnet.org server, I have told the firewall to allow your IP, so if you were being blocked, you aren't now.

Dave

Hi all, This issue is still persisting. I've traced it as far as having to do with charter on my end. For example, when I access the site via my mobile data connection I get the site, but when I access it using charter I get timeouts.

The timeouts apply not only to the nfb nevada website, but also to my nfb nevada webmaster email and the FTP server used for posting updates to the site. I am unable to ping as well, though I can access nfb.org <http://nfb.org/> just fine in safari even though I can't ping it. I'm guessing ping is turned off for security reasons.

I have noticed that nfbnevada.org <http://nfbnevada.org/> and nfb.org <http://nfb.org/> are on different subnets. Nevada is on 69.164.216.131, while nfb.org <http://nfb.org/> is on 216.230.124.116. I'm guessing these are on two different servers or server configurations which is why I have access to the main site but not the nevada site.

Is there any way some one can check at the server which hosts www.nfbnevada.org <http://www.nfbnevada.org/> to see if my submet is blocked by a spam bot or something? My IP is 75.142.32.104.

Thanks,

Erik

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
