[Nfb-web] Looking for Affiliate Web Site Assistance

Hello Gabe and everyone,

I agree whole-hartedly. Although I was paid by several affiliates to fix 
their websites the payments were spiratic. If we're going to demand that 
blind shop workers be paid the minimum wage as you say the NFB could be 
a model employer and blind Webmasters could receive regular income for 
servicing NFB affiliate Websites.

      I had several occasions when I worked hard to build several 
affiliate and chapter Websites at no cost to the chapter or affiliate in 
question only to be told my services were no longer needed because the 
affiliate wants to take its Website in a different direction. How 
stupid! If there's something they want changed they had better keep 
their Webmaster around to make the changes for them and raise the funds 
to pay them for their services. President Riccobono has been told by me 
that I will not touch another affiliate Website unless I'm paid for my 
time and know-how. Perhaps if affiliates are made to pay for Web design 
services they'll better appreciate the site and the skill and knowledge 
of the Webmaster and won't treat them like they're garbage they can 
throw in the trash when they should keep them on to help them design a 
Website that meets their needs.
