I would like to weigh in on this and on the previous fuss regarding getting web site help.  This isn't a simple matter, gabe, as you indicate it is, nor is it a case where it is wrong to mention that there is a service to be purchased.  Some of the best training we can get with technology has come from people who make their living at it and who charge a reasonable price.  If Gabe's training is good, I could easily see spending $45 to get a jump start.  I don't see what is wrong with knowing that alternative exists.

On the other hand, to simply say that if I get paid for something I'm never going to give it away is also very narrow.  We are a nonprofit that accomplishes a lot with volunteers.  Some functions should not be handled as a voluntary effort, but sometimes it simply depends upon who is available and willing.  We have treasurers who have accounting backgrounds but who do not expect to get paid.  Man affilliate newsletters are edited by people as volunteers even though they may well write as part of their jobs.  Let's find a course between blasting anyone who has a product that might be worth paying for, and thinking that we are above volunteering for anything.

and as a web master list young man, you can’t expect us all to be little dudes sitting at home in our parent’s basement doing this for a hobby. some of us, do this for a good living in fact, and have created a valuable income out of what we do, and frankly, if you do a search, in the wp admin area, under appearance, themes, search, advance search, and check the box for accessible ready themes, he will easily find what he is looking for.

I should not expect to provide my services and knowledge for free simply because we are all blind. and to be honest, there are many, of my clients who are in fact NFB members who agree with me, because they pay me and pay me very well.
