Subject: Microsoft, Outlook.com and Hotmail.com inbound SMTP DANE with
DNSSEC
rollout
Date: Sat, 7 Dec 2024 02:09:49 +0000

Hello Dave you should be aware of this. If not Microsoft 365 Exchange
Online, Outlook.com and Hotmail.com e-mail services are in the process of
enabling and requiring inbound SMTP DANE with DNSSEC. The Outlook.com and
Hotmail.com migration will be completed by March 2025. Microsoft
365 will be completed by May 2025 and Microsoft 365 will require a manual
migration to function properly.

I know there are some state affiliates/divisions that are using Microsoft
365 Exchange Online for there e-mail. Can you post this to the Webmasters
list to put a bug into those webmasters who look after these e-mail
servers.
