ANNOUNCEMENT

 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

 

The Membership Committee of the National Federation of the Blind of Georgia, is looking for volunteers to assist distributing NFB literature and educating the public about blindness at the following event:

 

41st Annual Geranium Festival

May 19, 2018

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The McDonough, GA Downtown Square

The NFB Table will be:  K 42, located on Keys Ferry Street close to Moyes Pharmacy.

 

·        The Geranium Festival is sponsored by the McDonough Lions Club.

·        The money raised goes to help the visually impaired and Henry County charities.

 

Join us for this year's Geranium Festival around the McDonough downtown square.  Jewelry, wood crafts, visual arts, clothing, accessories, children's play area, community business booths, music and much, much, more!

 

One of the best festivals in all of Georgia and you won't go hungry!  Over 25,000 people and over 300 vendors.

7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

If transportation is needed to volunteer, please let Beverly know.

 

If you have your own transportation, whatever time you have to volunteer is needed and if you can provide transportation to 1 or 2 members, we would appreciate your assistance.
